Akwa United battle ready for Nasarawa United– Ayeni

Akwa United head coach, Ayodeji Ayeni said his team is in high spirits ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 13 encounter.

The Promise Keeper will take on relegation strugglers Nasarawa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.

Ayeni said his team is working hard to maintain their push for a top-three finish.

“We are in high spirits and we working really hard to ensure we finish among the top three teams in our group,” Ayeni told Media Talk Africa.

“This is not the time to relent or allow complacency to set in. We must not allow recent results get into our heads.”

A win for Akwa United in this tie will see them close the gap on Group A leaders Bendel Insurance.
