EPL: Why I clashed with Henderson at Stamford Bridge – Alisson Becker

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has revealed why he clashed with teammate Jordan Henderson during their game with Chelsea.

Both players were involved in a heated bust-up during their 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Both men squared up to each other in the 77th minute after an attempt by Chelsea’s Joao Felix went out of play.

However, former England international Henderson was seen talking to Alisson in a much more relaxed manner after the full-time whistle and the two embraced each other before exiting the pitch.

The former Roma goalkeeper told LFCTransferRoom: “Henderson and I are two people who fight, who give their lives for their team.

“So, sometimes, it seems like tempers are running high, but we are two people trying to fix it, make things the best way for the team and try to help.”
