The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has felicitated with the former President of the Senate, David Mark on his 75th birthday, describing him as a leader of all seasons.
In a congratulatory message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur, Ortom lauded the former lawmaker for his steadfastness in service to Nigeria over the years.
Ortom recalled the leadership of Mark as president of the Senate for eight uninterrupted years (2007 -2015), pointing out that his stewardship was a pride to the government and people of Benue State.
He noted that Senator Mark was an accomplished soldier, a successful politician and a community leader whose contributions to the political and socio-economic development of the country cannot be undermined.
The Governor requested Senator Mark to create a platform for making his reservoir of knowledge and experience in leadership available to the younger generation to tap from.
He wished Senator Mark good health, peace and wisdom in the years ahead.
