Ronaldo tells Al-Nassr to sign 40-year-old defender

Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his club to sign 40-year-old defender, Pepe, from FC Porto, according to Portuguese football transfer expert, Pedro Almeida.

Almeida made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle.

He tweeted, “Cristiano Ronaldo asked the Al-Nassr board to sign #Pepe, the Portuguese player is at the end of contract with Porto.

“Porto wants to extend the contract with the player.”

Ronaldo and Pepe were former club teammates during their time at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer after he left Manchester United by mutual consent last November.
