LaLiga: You will not be happy in another team – Xavi warns Barcelona midfielder

Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez has urged Gavi to remain with the club beyond this season.

Gavi has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea believed to be keen on the player.

It is being speculated that the Spaniard is annoyed with Barca for failing to register him as a first-team player in January.

However, Xavi has advised the 18-year-old to stay put with the LaLiga giants.

“He would not be as happy in another team as he is here.

“He is a footballer that excites me. His future lies with Barça,” Xavi said.
