EPL: You should learn from us – Roy Keane, Gary Neville tell Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Roy Keane have responded to Bruno Fernandes’ recent jibe on them.

While Nevile still insists that Fernandes’ behaviour could impact the team negatively, Keane advised the Portuguese to learn to take advice from former stars.

The Portugal international was seen waving his arms around in frustration during Manchester United’s 7-0 defeat to Liverpool.

He was also caught on camera berating his team-mates during the collapse and this caught the attention of many pundits who slammed him after the game.

But in a new interview, Fernandes hit out at Nevile and Keane after they branded him a ‘disgrace’ and saying the legends were just saying things ‘to get attention’.

Neville told Sky Sports: “I don’t think so. I don’t talk to any Manchester United fans who like the way that he behaves, particularly when they’re losing, particularly when he throws his arms around.

“When he says he doesn’t cause a problem when he throws his arms around – he does!”

Nevile said he criticised Cristiano Ronaldo for doing it some years ago and will continue to cricise Fernandes if he does not stop.

“I don’t like it. I think direct criticism is fine.

“He should also be open-minded to when ex-players are critical of him because he can learn from it,” Keane added.

“…The way he rolls around, the way he waves his arms. I think that can be improved, of course.”
