Ighalo targets Asian Champions League glory with Al Hilal

Odion Ighalo will hope to lead Saudi Arabia Professional Football League champions, Al Hilal to victory when they take on Japanese side, Urawa Red Diamonds.

The first leg encounter is billed for the King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh on Saturday (today).

Ighalo has scored seven goals for the Blue Waves in the competition this season.

With his strength, speed and clinical finishing he will be a constant threat to the Urawa defence.

Only Al Duhail’s Edmilson Junior has scored more goals (eight) than the Nigerian in the competition this season.

The 33-year-old also has a chance to win his second title with Ramon Diaz’s side.

Ighalo won the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League title with the club last season.

Al Hilal have won the Asian Champions League title twice in the past.
