EPL: He has experience – Fabregas gives verdict on potential incoming Chelsea manager

Former Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has given his opinion on potential incoming Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea are very close to appointing Pochettino as their next permanent manager.

He has been heavily linked with replacing interim manager Frank Lampard at the end of the season, and the former Paris Saint-Germain boss recently emerged as the front-runner for the job.

When asked if he would be happy with Chelsea appointing Pochettino, Fabregas told Sky Sports’ Main Event channel on Tuesday: “I think so. As you mentioned, he had a really good experience with Spurs, developing young players and he took them to a really good level.

“So why not? It’s just about getting the right person, which is the difficult thing.”
