2023 Nigerian Polo Tournament Set to Take Over Ibadan

Polo enthusiasts are set to be wowed as the 2023 edition of the Nigeria Polo Association tournament kicks off on Monday, May 15th in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State. The event promises to showcase the horsemanship, speed, and precision of highly-skilled polo players as they battle it out for honors.

At a press briefing held on Sunday, the President of the Ibadan Polo Club, Koyinsola Owoeye, expressed excitement about the tournament, which will run till May 21st. According to him, this year’s edition will not only be thrilling but also cater to women and children who will enjoy various side attractions in addition to the main spectacle.

“The 2023 edition is set to feature exciting activities for children and women in addition to the main tournament,” Owoeye said.

Bola Adeyemi, the tournament chairman and vice-president of the club, also spoke about the intense competition expected with teams from various distinguished polo clubs across the country.

“The tournament will be the most competitive and the most exciting ever, as players from notable polo clubs across Nigeria are being expected,” Adeyemi said.

Apart from the polo skills on display, enthusiasts and fans can look forward to undiluted entertainment at the end of each day. Owoeye further assured fans, sponsors, and spectators that the tournament would offer a fantastic experience for everyone in attendance.

The highly anticipated tournament is expected to attract polo players, enthusiasts, and guests from across the country. It will undoubtedly live up to its reputation as a premier event in Nigeria’s sporting calendar.
