Gov. Sule loses younger brother, months after son’s death

The Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, has lost his younger brother, Labaran Sule.

DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the governor’s brother died on Saturday morning.

Mr Sule’s death comes a few months after the governor lost his son, Hassan Sule, on January 27, at the age of 36 after a brief illness.

Confirming the death of the governor’s brother in a Facebook post, an aide to the governor, Musa Barau, said the funeral prayer of the deceased would take place at Emir’s Palace Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area on Saturday.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State younger brother, Labaran Sule.

“The funeral service for the deceased will take place at Gudi Emir Palace, Akwanga LGA. May his soul rest in Aljannatul Firdausi, Ameen ya rabbi,” the post read.
