FG Relieves FAAN MD of Duties and Appoints Replacement

In a recent development, the Federal Government has relieved Captain Rabiu Yadudu of his role as Managing Director of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). This news comes alongside the announcement of Kabir Mohammed, current Manager of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, as Yadudu’s successor. Mohammed is set to begin his new duties next week.

Before his appointment as FAAN Managing Director, Mohammed served as the Regional General Manager for North Central Nigeria. Throughout this time, Mohammed effectively balanced his position as General Manager for Special Duties at FAAN.

At this time, the reason for Yadudu’s removal from his post is still unknown.
