Toney, Jensen score as Brentford beat Bournemouth 2-0

Brentford on Saturday moved up to eighth place on the Premier League table after they beat Bournemouth 2-0 at their home, the Gtech Community Stadium.

Forward Ivan Toney scored a penalty in the 39th minute with a right footed shot to the top right corner, following a foul by Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi in the penalty area.

Mathias Jensen doubled the scoreline for Brentford, 75′, with his right footed shot from the centre of the box to the top left corner of the post. The goal was assisted by Josh Dasilva.

Bournemouth slide down to 17th place with 16 points, losing 11 games so far this season, while Brentford sit in eighth with 29 points
