Dangote Refinery to Eradicate Energy Crisis – Nasarawa State Governor

The Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule, congratulated Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, on the completion of the integrated refinery in Lagos State. The Governor believes that the issues regarding the energy crisis will be resolved as soon as the refined products hit the petroleum market within the next few months.

While attending the official commissioning and handover of the 2.2-kilometer Loko-Oweto Bridge constructed by President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Sule commended the efforts of the President, whose tenure as Nigeria’s leader would soon come to an end. He said that President Buhari had done an excellent job of serving the country.

Governor Sule stated that the commissioning of the Dangote Refinery brought an end to the energy crisis. He also noted that the bridge project was a dream come true for the people of Loko and Oweto in Nasarawa and Benue states, respectively, and all the southeastern part of the country.

After the event, President Buhari was represented by the Governor, who commissioned the 58-kilometer, 33KVA electrification project in Loko headquarters of Loko Development Area. Abdullahi Sule also disclosed that his administration had awarded the construction of a two-kilometer low tension line to connect Loko town to the main road.

The governor added that four 500KVA transformers were also installed in the area, and neighboring towns would soon be connected to the 200KVA line.

In summary, the governor of Nasarawa State congratulated Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the completion of the Dangote Refinery. Governor Sule also expressed his appreciation to President Buhari for his efforts in delivering the Loko-Oweto Bridge construction project. The Governor believes that the refinery will help put an end to the energy crisis in Nigeria.
