New Kaduna State Governor-Elect appoints Muhammad Shehu Lawal as Chief Press Secretary

Mr. Uba Sani, the Governor-elect of Kaduna State, has announced the appointment of Muhammad Shehu Lawal to the position of Chief Press Secretary, effective immediately.

Mr. Sani made the announcement in a statement he personally signed and issued to the media in Kaduna.

The newly appointed Chief Press Secretary holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, as well as a Masters in Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies from Kaduna State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the same institution.

Additionally, Lawal has certificates in Interfaith Conflict Resolution and Conflict Analysis from the United States Institute of Peace, Washington DC, and Monitoring and Evaluation from the Global Health Learning Centre, Baltimore, USA.

Senator Uba Sani has urged Mr. Lawal to bring his wealth of experience in strategic communication, political communication, image management, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding to the job.
