Obasanjo and Peter Obi Join Kukah for the Launch of His Book in Port Harcourt

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party during the last general election have joined Bishop Mathew Kukah for a book launch event in Port Harcourt. Kukah’s book, titled ‘Witness to Reconciliation: My Personal Journey Towards Reconciliation in Ogoni Land’, is being presented at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Rivers State.

The event, which was attended by a large crowd, saw the trio arrive at the venue exactly at 2:45pm. Details of the event will be made available shortly, as the event is still in progress.

This book presentation will undoubtedly provide insight into the journey towards reconciliation in Ogoni land, and could potentially serve as a solution for other regions that have struggled with reconciliation.

All levels of society, from religious leaders to politicians, are promoting unity and peace, especially in regions that have been torn by conflicts. Bishop Kukah has been known to advocate for unity and reconciliation, and this book launch event is one of his many efforts to promote these values.

As Nigeria continues to face challenges with ethnic and religious conflicts, it is imperative that leaders and ordinary citizens alike work towards promoting peace and reconciliation for the country to attain sustainable development.
