Ian Wright Advises Pochettino on Two Vital Signings for Chelsea

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright has advised Chelsea’s new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, to make two important signings during the summer transfer window – a new goalkeeper and No. 9. Wright has also urged Pochettino to trim down the Chelsea squad by selling off unnecessary players. Pochettino took over at Stamford Bridge on Monday, and Wright believes that given the coach’s proven ability to handle young players and organize a team, there is not much he needs to do in the transfer market. However, the addition of a goalkeeper and another number in the squad, as well as the reduction of the squad’s size, could help take Chelsea to the next level. According to Wright, Pochettino has enough quality already in the squad, but Chelsea fans should still be excited about the Argentine’s appointment as he has the ability to take the team to new heights.
