Kwara Governor, Abdulrazaq, Retains Ajakaye as Chief Press Secretary

In a bid to maintain continuity in the information management system of Kwara State, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has approved the reappointment of Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye as his Chief Press Secretary.

The State Head of Service, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole, disclosed this in a statement from the state capital, Ilorin, on Monday. Oluwole congratulated Ajakaye on his reappointment and urged him to recommit himself to his responsibility as the Governor’s spokesman.

The reappointment of Ajakaye, who is a seasoned journalist, is expected to consolidate the information management system of Kwara State.

It can be recalled the Kwara Governor appointed Ajakaye as his Chief Press Secretary shortly after his inauguration in 2019, and in the course of his duties, Ajakaye has shown professionalism and adhered to the ethics of journalism in the discharge of his duties.

This reappointment is a testament to his commitment to the dissemination of accurate information to the public.
