The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, announced Tuesday morning the appointment of the former Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Dr Baffa Bichi, as the new Secretary to the State Government.
In a press statement, signed by the governorā€™s spokesman, Sanusi Bature Dawakin, confirming the appointment, he added that the staunch Kwankwasiyya follower, Shehu Wada Sagagi, will serve as Chief of Staff to the governor.
Other appointments made by the governor include Dr. Farouq Kurawa as the Principal Private Secretary; Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, Chief Protocol, and Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Chief Press Secretary.
All the appointments, according to the press statement, take immediate effect on Monday, May 29, 2023.
It added that the appointees were selected based on their track records, commitment, and loyalty.
