Islamic group urges Tinubu and Shettima to approach decision-making cautiously in the complex Nigerian society

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima on their inauguration into office, and advised them to approach decision-making cautiously in the complex society of Nigeria.

While speaking in Lagos on Tuesday, Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Executive Director of MURIC, urged the duo to reflect deeply and examine all angles before taking decisions.

Despite the excitement of their recent victory, Akintola reminded Tinubu and Shettima of the arduous task ahead of them, encouraging them to make good governance and improved living the primary goals of their administration.

Akintola added that all Imams should initiate weekly prayers for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, as well as for the country of Nigeria, immediately following every Friday Jum’ah sermon.

In conclusion, he urged Nigerians to allow the new administration to settle in and to cooperate with them on their mission to improve living standards within the country.
