President Tinubu Sends Condolences to India Following Fatal Train Crash

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed sympathy with the government and people of India after a train accident claimed the lives of over 280 passengers and left more than 900 others injured. On Friday, a fatal crash involving two passenger trains and a goods train occurred in the city of Balasore, located in the state of Odisha in eastern India.

President Tinubu sent a heartfelt commiseration message to the Indian government and families of the victims. He described the incident as heartrending, adding that global support is necessary for India to adequately respond to the calamitous accident.

In his media aide, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz’s statement on Saturday, the President sent his deepest sympathy and condolences to His Excellency Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of India and the families impacted by the crash.
