BBTitans’ Khosi: My Relationship with Yemi was Just a Game

Makhosazane Twala, popularly known as Khosi, the winner of Big Brother Titans Season 1 reality show, has revealed that her relationship with fellow housemate, Yemi, was nothing more than a game. In an interview with Cool FM, Lagos, the 25-year-old South African journalist explained that both she and Yemi were playing games with each other while they were in the Big Brother House.

Khosi made it clear that although she engaged in flirting with other guys, it was in response to Yemi’s actions. She emphasized that Yemi initiated the game and she simply followed suit.

The Cool FM host, Do2tun, inquired about the current state of their relationship, but Khosi stated that there has been no friendship between them since they left the Big Brother House.

She said, “We [Yemi and I] were kind of dating, and yeah, when he left the house, I think that is just where it ended. There hasn’t been any friendship between me and him. To be honest with you, when I stayed behind, and a lot happened, I didn’t expect any friendship, anyways.”

Khosi went on to explain that if she owes Yemi an apology, it means that he also owes her an apology. She asserted that the whole experience was all a part of the game. However, upon leaving the show and observing Yemi’s strategy, she began to have doubts about their relationship, feeling that Yemi had played the game first.

Reflecting on her actions with another housemate, Thabang, Khosi recalled, “Obviously, I saw how he would react when I interacted with Thabang, and I was like, oh! Okay, now he even understands what I was going through when he was doing his thing. But then, when he started changing his ways, I didn’t know how to stop.”

It appears that Khosi and Yemi’s relationship was solely part of the game while in the Big Brother House. Although they were romantically involved during their time on the show, it seems that Khosi does not foresee any friendship or further connection with Yemi in the future.
