Multiple Western Presidents Eager to Meet with Tinubu in France – Presidency

The Nigerian Presidency has revealed that several Western Presidents have expressed their desire to meet with President Bola Tinubu during his visit to France.

The announcement was made by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, Dele Alake, in Paris, France.

Speaking to journalists, Alake stated that these Western leaders were keen to meet with Tinubu due to the various initiatives he had undertaken within just three weeks of assuming office as President.

Tinubu is in Paris to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

Alake further explained, “Mr. President’s policies over the last three weeks have instilled confidence in foreign investors, resulting in increased interest in Nigeria’s economy. Many of them have shown their interest in meeting with President Tinubu during this trip. He has already held a discussion about organizing these meetings with heads of state.”

“Approximately four different Western Heads of State have conveyed their interest in meeting with Tinubu. The purpose of these meetings is to engage in discussions and explore potential areas of collaboration, particularly in the fields of the economy, agriculture, and other essential sectors,” Alake added.
