Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said that he would “love” to see the United States become the first country to sign a document that has Western countries providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
Zelenskiy who made the statement in a conversation with former U.S. President Bill Clinton at an event for the Clinton Global Initiative, said that it is a good example for the country that is still not in NATO, but in spite of not being a NATO member, it still wants to live and it has to live.
The draft document was presented last week, based on proposals drawn up by senior officials and the former head of NATO.
