Jose Mourinho Rejects Lucrative Offer to Coach Al Hilal

In a surprising turn of events, AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has declined a jaw-dropping contract proposal from Saudi Arabian powerhouse, Al Hilal.

According to renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal made a staggering offer of €30 million per season as a net salary to entice Mourinho to become their next manager.

However, the Portuguese tactician unhesitatingly turned down this lucrative proposition as he remains fully committed to his current position at AS Roma.

Mourinho, who successfully guided Roma to their second consecutive European final last season, undoubtedly has his sights set on reclaiming the Italian club’s former glory. Unfortunately, their hopes were dashed when they suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat on penalties against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final, following a tense 1-1 draw after 120 minutes of play.

Notably, Al Hilal initially targeted Mourinho before pursuing Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri, as their ideal candidate. Similar to Mourinho, Allegri also rebuffed the opportunity to take charge of the Saudi club.
