Subsidy removal: Tinubu took best decision to reposition Nigeria’s economy – APC chieftain, Mumuni

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took the best decision when he removed fuel subsidy.

He made this disclosure in a statement issued to felicitate with Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir festival.

Mumuni in the statement signed by his media aide, Rasheed Abubakar, on Thursday said that Muslim faithfuls should give glory to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid.

He said, “I want Nigerians to endure the reform policies that are being introduced by the Tinubu-led administration, especially in the area of subsidy.

“He made the best decision when he removed the subsidy. In the end, I am certain we will all be better with these game-changing policies.

“Once again, I bid the Muslim community happy Eid-el-Adha celebrations. Let me also felicitate with our brothers and sisters who are far away in Saudi Arabia for hajj rites. May Allah accept the rites from them as an act of worship. May He forgive them all their sins, grant their prayer requests and turn them into newborns as promised. I wish all of the pilgrims safe return to their places of origin”.
