Ladi Akeredolu-Ale Appointed as Managing Director of Enugu State Broadcasting Service

Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has appointed Mr. Ladi Akeredolu-Ale, an award-winning journalist, as the Managing Director of Enugu State Broadcasting Service, ESBS.

Prior to his recent appointment, Akeredolu-Ale served as the Controller of Current Affairs at Channels Television in Lagos State.

The official announcement of his appointment was made through a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

With over 30 years of experience in journalism, Akeredolu-Ale is expected to utilize his expertise in transforming the state broadcasting service.

His mandate includes driving a media revolution, inspiring drastic reforms in media innovation and creativity, as well as enhancing the revenue-generating capacity of the state-owned media organization.

This strategic move by the government positions Akeredolu-Ale to elevate the Enugu State Broadcasting Service to the ranks of the best in the industry.
