2023: Christian group advises Southern Kaduna residents to vote politicians with human sympathy

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association (SKCLA), on Monday, advised people of the area to vote for politicians that know the challenges confronting them.

In a statement by the association’s chairman, Apostle Dr Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, it said the appeal was made during a prayer summit held at the Kafanchan Township Stadium.

According to him, the 2023 voting should not be done along religious or ethnic considerations but by those with the mindset to assist the poor and less privileged.

The statement advised sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna interested in 2023 elective political offices whose party may not be strong to win the election to merge or align their aspirations with the party they feel can win and avoid splitting their votes.

It further urged whoever wins the 2023 general elections to get closer to Southern Kaduna and be ready to be fair in the distribution of positions.

According to the statement, the essence of the prayer summit was to unite the people and kingdoms in prayers for the restoration of the land, having spent three years without a formal gathering to pray due to COVID-19.
