Doma coach blames Sunshine draw on tiredness

Newly promoted Doma United coach Akinade Onigbinde has blamed their 1-1 stalemate against visiting Sunshine Stars on match-day one of their NPFL clash at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe on his players tiredness and substitution.

Chibuike Charles gave the hosts the lead in the 38th minute before Sunshine Stars grabbed a late equaliser.

Speaking during the post match interview, Onigbinde said, “The players are tired and we made a mistake in the substitution, but it is a lesson learnt and the error came from the goalkeeper, which we are going to work on.”

Also, Edith Agoye, Sunshine gaffer, lauded his players, saying, “It’s a very good one, a draw and its very good for us considering the long journey for us to come here (Gombe).
