Transfer: Ligue 1 club, Lille step up Orban chase

Ligue 1 club, Lille have stepped up their interest in Nigeria forward, Gift Orban.

Orban linked up with Belgian Pro League club, KAA Gent from Norwegian club, Staebek in January.

The 21-year-old caught the eye after netting 20 goals across all competitions for the Buffalos.

Lille are set to offload Jonathan David this summer and want Orban as replacement.

The Nigerian is also a subject of interest from another Ligue 1 side, Lens.

Gent are looking to sell the player for €20m.
