Group Tasks Nigerian Government On Enabling Environment To Boost Investments

A group known as The African Legacy International Media Services Ltd, organisers of Nigeria International Trade Fair/Expo Meeting 2023 has appealed to the Nigerian Government to ensure an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the country.

Coordinator of the Nigeria International Trade Fair/Expo Meeting, Mr Innocent Ogu Made the appeal at a news briefing in Abuja on Monday.

He said that an enabling business environment and policies were critical to attracting more Foreign Direct Investments, FDI to Nigeria.

Ogu said that the meeting scheduled to hold in Centro Citibanamex, Mexico City, Mexico from 3rd to the 4th of October would create platforms for robust business alliances and collaborations.

According to him, the event is designed to galvanise business interests, relationships, collaborations, alliances and working partnerships with the Americans, more especially, the host country Mexico.

“Different business sectors and seekers ranging from agricultural, financing, technological, educational, health, sports, ICT, trading and commerce, African foods and cultural heritages from Nigeria and African countries will come under one roof in Mexico City.

“They will associate with the Mexicans, more, the American stakeholders.

“The event is being supported by the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture and would feature different Nigerian government sectors, ministries, agencies and parastatals,’’ he said.

Ogu further said that the event was also designed to enhance more robust economic gateways as well as promote market penetration and expansion for Nigeria and Mexico.
