APC Chairmanship: Northern Governors Applaud Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s Election

The Northern States Governors’ Forum has expressed their admiration for the election of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement released on Thursday by the Forum’s Chairman and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, they praised Ganduje’s emergence and highlighted his exceptional leadership abilities.

The statement also commended the election of former Senate spokesman, Senator Ajibola Basiru, as the National Secretary of the party.

Governor Yahaya reminded Ganduje of his impressive tenure as the Governor of Kano State, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people and the development of the APC. They believe that his experience and strategic vision will be crucial in addressing the challenges ahead and uniting the party for positive change in Nigeria.

They expressed confidence that under Ganduje’s leadership, the APC will navigate a path of progress, inclusivity, and good governance, aligning with President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ mantra. They also lauded the leadership of President Tinubu, which facilitated the smooth conduct of the caucus and NEC meetings that led to the election of the new APC leaders.
