Jose Mourinho Targets Chelsea Star Armando Broja for AS Roma Transfer

AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has set his sights on signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja during this summer’s transfer window, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

Following a serious injury to former Chelsea attacker Tammy Abraham, Mourinho is eager to strengthen his team’s attack.

Mourinho’s squad has already undergone significant reinforcements in various positions this transfer market.

The Serie A side has secured signings such as Evan Ndicka, Houssem Aouar, Leandro Paredes, and Renato Sanches (on loan).

However, Mourinho now has his sights on poaching promising talent from his former club, Chelsea, by pursuing Broja.

Last season, Broja’s playing time for the Blues was limited to 18 appearances due to a ruptured ACL.

The Albanian international contributed one goal and one assist across different competitions for the Premier League side.

With his contract with Chelsea set to expire in the 2027-2028 season, Broja is currently valued at approximately €28 million.
