Otti Urges Support for a New Abia State: A Vision Free of Corruption and Crime

Governor Alex Otti has passionately appealed to the people of Abia State for their unwavering support in realizing a new future, one that is untainted by corruption and crime.

In a bold move, Governor Otti has also issued a stern warning to traditional rulers in the state, cautioning them against recognizing and honoring suspected criminals through awards and chieftaincy titles.

Speaking at the launch of the Abia State Orientation Agency, a significant milestone in the celebration of the state’s 32nd anniversary, Otti described corruption and unpatriotic behavior as the key factors that have hindered Abia’s progress since its inception.

However, Governor Otti expressed his administration’s unwavering determination to cleanse the state of all forms of corruption, as he believes it is the only path to unlocking Abia’s true potential.

Emphasizing his zero-tolerance stance on chieftaincy titles for individuals with questionable character, Governor Otti warned traditional rulers and priests alike that such practices would not be tolerated under his leadership.

Furthermore, Governor Otti stressed the importance of maintaining integrity in the education system, particularly regarding examination malpractice.
