NPFL: Babaganaru assures Gombe United will get better before new season

Gombe United head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, has assured that the coaching crew is utilising every opportunity to prepare the team for the new season.

Babaganaru was recently named head coach of the Savannah Scorpions.

The experienced tactician revealed that the coaching staff is working on the fitness of the players before the start of the NPFL season.

“We are working tirelessly to get the players ready for the 2023-24 NPFL season,” he told Media Talk Africa.

“We are making use of the best opportunity available for us to get the players to full fitness.”

Gombe United have recorded two wins and two draws in the last four warm-up matches.

Gombe United will battle Sporting Lagos in their NPFL opener on a yet-to-be announced date.
