Former Rivers United Defender Ebube Duru Nears Completion of Move Abroad

Prominent Nigerian footballer Ebube Duru, who formerly played for Rivers United, is on the verge of finalizing a transfer to a European club, as per Media Talk Africa.

Duru is currently without a club after his contract with Rivers United expired.

According to Aljosa Alibegovic, Duru’s agent, the talented defender is currently engaged in advanced negotiations with the European club.

“Negotiations have commenced with the club for Duru to join them as a free agent,” he stated in an interview with Media Talk Africa.

“He is currently training with a personal trainer in preparation for the move.”

Last season, the 24-year-old was honored with inclusion in the Nigeria Premier Football League team of the season, showcasing his remarkable skills and talent.

Duru also received an invitation to represent the Super Eagles in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone in June.
