Colleagues and fans of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, gathered on Thursday evening to hold a memorial procession in his honor.
Dressed in customised tee-shirts bearing the image of the late singer, mourners congregated on the streets of Lekki in Lagos State to pay their respects.
Notably, famous singer Davido, who had recently returned to the country after a successful tour in America, also joined the procession.
A video capturing the event has been circulating on the internet, showcasing fans cheering for the “Fem” crooner as he led the procession.
In the meantime, Bella Shmurda, a close friend and frequent collaborator of Mohbad, expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the memorial procession for the late singer.
On his social media handle, he wrote, “Shout out to everyone who came out for Mohbad’s candle night. Y’all are blessed. I appreciate you guys from the bottom of my heart.”
