Lagos State Government Commences Demolition of Illegal Buildings in Meiran

The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources has taken firm action by embarking on the demolition of illegal structures situated along the perimeter fence of Lagos State Model College, Meiran.

In a statement released on Monday, Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for the Environment, confirmed the commencement of the operation implemented by the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance Department of the State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.

Wahab stated, “Today, the Monitoring Enforcement and Compliance Department of Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources carried out the demolition of all illegal structures located along the perimeter fence of Lagos State Model College, Meiran, Agbado, Oke-Odo LCDA, and its environs.”
