Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has weighed in on the ongoing feud between singers Samklef and Davido.
The clash between the two ensued after Samklef, in a congratulatory post on Instagram, shared a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA, with their newborn twins.
In response, Davido, who had not yet made the birth announcement, took to social media to berate Samklef for allegedly leaking the video and subsequently blocked him.
Since the incident, Samklef has posted several times on his Instagram page, calling out Davido for allegedly owing a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student, Mastermind, one million naira since 2020.
Addressing the ongoing feud in a recent Instagram post, Bobrisky pointed out that Samklef’s anger stems from Davido blocking him on Instagram.
“Sometimes silence isn’t the best response to lowlifes. Just a few weeks ago, Samklef was praising David, but as soon as he blocked you, war began,” Bobrisky wrote.
“If you want him to unblock you, send elders to beg him and he will unblock you. But coming for him won’t faze him. You are the one at a loss here. As a producer, you have failed completely. As a musician, you have also failed completely. As a blogger, you have failed. Even as an interviewer, you have failed.”
The verbal sparring between Samklef and Davido continues to unfold on social media, with Bobrisky’s remarks adding fuel to the fire.
It remains to be seen if the parties involved will find common ground and resolve their differences in the near future.
