Tinubu Expresses Condolences to Canadian Government Following Fire Incident at Embassy

President Bola Tinubu has sent a heartfelt message of sympathy to the Canadian government, diplomatic community, and all individuals affected by a devastating fire incident that occurred on Monday at the Canadian High Commission in Abuja.

During this challenging time, President Tinubu reassured the Canadian authorities of the unwavering support of the Nigerian government in assisting both diplomatic and local staff of the High Commission who were particularly affected by the incident.

In addition, Tinubu offered prayers for the repose of the departed souls and extended his wishes for a speedy and complete recovery for all the injured individuals.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Canadian government and all those affected by this tragic event. We stand in solidarity with our Canadian friends during this difficult period,” stated Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity.
