The head honcho of Doma United, Akinade Onigbinde, has opened up about his team’s aspirations as they gear up for their next Nigeria Premier Football League showdown against Awka United.
It was an evening of frustration for the Savannah Tigers as they were held to a goalless draw by Bendel Insurance in a rescheduled fixture last Thursday. Despite dominating proceedings, Onigbinde’s troops found themselves unable to breach the resolute Insurance defense.
The young tactician expressed his determination to steer his squad back to winning form in their upcoming fixture, emphasizing the need to secure a positive result.
Speaking to Doma United media, Onigbinde lamented, “The goalless draw against Bendel Insurance is not in line with our plans. We are determined to restore our pride in front of our home supporters come Sunday when we take on Akwa United.
“It is imperative that we get back to our winning ways.”
