INEC Presents Certificate of Return to Kogi Governor-Elect Usman Ododo

The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially presented the certificates of return to the Governor-Elect of Kogi State, Usman Ahmed Ododo, and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo Salifu.

Last weekend’s Governorship election in Kogi State saw the All Progressives Congress emerge with the majority of votes, paving the way for Ododo to assume the governorship.

The certificate presentation ceremony, held at the INEC headquarters in Lokoja, drew a massive crowd of supporters, family members, and associates.

In his remarks following the receipt of the certificate, Governor-Elect Usman Ahmed Ododo pledged to champion a fair and egalitarian Kogi State. He emphasized his commitment to fostering unity in the state.

Ododo also expressed gratitude to the people of Kogi State for their overwhelming support during the election, hailing it as a testament to the state’s resilience and harmony.
