Plateau United boss thumbs up Doma United despite defeat

Plateau United head coach Mbwas Mangut has kind words for Doma United despite his side’s 1-0 defeat to their hosts.

Andrew Majalisa scored the winning goal in the 22nd minute.

Mangut said the Savannah Tigers showed discipline to withstand the pressure from his side.

“Generally, I think the team did well,” he said in a post-match interview.

“The opponent, we have to give it to them, well disciplined, compact, and able to withstand the pressure. They had an early goal and they kept to it till the end.”

Doma United moved up to second place on the table following the win.

The Savannah Scorpions are now unbeaten in their last five league outings.
