The Borno State Ministry of Youth Employment, Sport Development, and Poverty Alleviation made a heartwarming gesture by awarding a cash gift of N200,000 to Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Football Club following their match against El-Kanemi Warriors.

El-Kanemi Warriors emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over the Saraki Boys at the El-Kanemi Warriors Sports Centre, with Risalanu Ismail netting the sole goal during the second half of the game.

Hon. Sainna Buba, representing the Borno State Ministry, presented the cash gift to the visiting team at the conclusion of the match. Emphasizing the government’s dedication to reviving El-Kanemi Warriors’ former glory, Buba also urged Borno football enthusiasts to actively participate in the club’s progress by attending matches.

It’s worth noting that El-Kanemi Warriors currently leads the Nigeria National League (NNL) Group C table with an impressive 11 points, showcasing their prowess and determination in the world of Nigerian football.
