The Nebraska Cornhuskers have made history by completing an undefeated season, winning all 30 games and finishing with a 20‑0 streak in the Big Ten tournament. Their campaign culminated in a victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes, securing the top spot in the conference. Coach Dani Busboom Kelly expressed pride in the accomplishment, saying, “It’s an incredible honor to finish an unbeaten regular season with our four seniors and complete this historic moment for our program.”

This milestone reflects the team’s exceptional skill and dedication throughout the year. The unbeaten run has placed Nebraska in the record books, surpassing the Texas Longhorns’ previous streak, which ended with a loss to Texas A&M on October 31. The Cornhuskers’ achievement echoes their 2000 season, when, under John Cook, they posted a similar record and captured the NCAA Championship.

Nebraska’s dominance at home is equally impressive, with a 58‑game winning streak at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The team has swept nearly every match played there, the only blemish being a single loss to Utah. Their success has drawn massive crowds; more than 300 consecutive home matches have sold out, breaking attendance records and underscoring the program’s popularity.

The Cornhuskers’ historic season stands as a significant accomplishment in collegiate volleyball, and their unbeaten run testifies to their talent and commitment. Looking ahead, Nebraska will undoubtedly remain a formidable force in the sport.
