Governor Fubara Denounces Fake PDP Committee List, Calls it Fabricated

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has dismissed a circulating list on social media claiming to be the Rivers State Peoples Democratic Party Caretaker Committee. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the construction of the Port Harcourt International Automobile Spare Parts Trading and Commercial Centre, Governor Fubara urged the public to ignore the list, labeling it as fake and lacking credibility.

Governor Fubara emphasized that the list has no validity, stating, “We agreed, not just in Rivers State, but in all the states affected, that the excos should be extended for three months. This extension does not introduce any new changes and does not authorize working without the governor’s approval. So, the lists you have seen are not legitimate and will not be recognized.”

He further explained, “We also agreed that there will be a NEC meeting on the 18th of April to ratify this decision. Therefore, the lists circulating are the work of desperate individuals seeking attention through the media. They are like empty drums making noise. Pay no attention to them as nothing substantial is happening.”

In conclusion, Governor Fubara urged the public to remain vigilant and not be swayed by false information. The focus should be on the official processes and decisions made through proper channels. Let us stay informed and avoid being misled by misleading information.
