Trabzonspor Pursuing Another Season Loan for Southampton’s Paul Onuachu

Trabzonspor, the Turkish Super Lig team, is eager to extend their loan deal with Southampton forward Paul Onuachu for another season. Onuachu, a Nigeria international, has impressed with nine goals and three assists in 17 league games for Trabzonspor since joining them on loan last summer.

Despite Trabzonspor’s interest in signing Onuachu permanently, they are unable to meet Southampton’s €15 million asking price. Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan is reportedly working hard to secure Onuachu’s services for at least another season.

A return to Southampton seems unlikely for the tall striker, who struggled to make an impact during his brief stint at the English club. Trabzonspor sees potential in Onuachu and is keen to continue their partnership with him.

As negotiations continue, it remains to be seen whether Onuachu will remain in Turkey or return to Southampton for the upcoming season. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
