The Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, declared that no sensible Nigerian will vote for either the All Progressives Congress (APC) or the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25 presidential election. He made the remarks on Monday while addressing supporters at the party’s governorship campaign rally in Tarauni Local Government Area.

Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, described the leaders of the two major parties as foes of women, youth and other Nigerians. He warned his supporters against violence and pledged that the NNPP would not tolerate any form of rigging in the upcoming elections. “PDP and APC are dead, and anyone who knows what he is doing and is in the right senses will never join or vote for them again,” he said. “They are the root cause of the current situation facing Nigerians and the true enemies of our women, youth and other citizens. We must therefore vote them out.”

He urged the crowd to remain peaceful and avoid any violent actions, adding that every voter would serve as an agent to ensure their votes count. “We will not allow a repeat of the last election; each of our voters must vote and make sure their votes are counted,” Kwankwaso emphasized. He also appealed to residents of Kano State and Nigeria at large not to sell their permanent voter cards.
