Amaechi Never Regrets Joining APC, Eze Clarifies

Nigeria’s APC Chief Chibuike Amaechi Denies Regretting Party Membership

Reports surfaced over the weekend suggesting that Chibuike Amaechi, the former Transportation Minister and key stakeholder in Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), regrets joining the party. However, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a close ally and former National Publicity Secretary of the APC, has come forward to dispel these claims.

According to Eze, Amaechi did not authorize anyone to speak on his behalf, and he is fully aware of the false report’s sponsor, which aims to demean his image and personality. The APC chief emphasized that Amaechi’s silence on political issues is a personal decision, unrelated to his party membership.

Eze warned those peddling the false report to stop wasting their time forcing Amaechi to speak, as he has no regrets about joining the APC. The report was described as a handiwork of denigrated political charlatans and their sponsors, who are hell-bent on destroying Amaechi’s reputation.

The former Governor of Rivers State and former Minister of Transportation is a complete partyman, a strategist, and a proactive politician who would not publicly rant about issues that could negate the growth and existence of the APC and intra-party politics.

Eze emphasized that Amaechi’s decision to keep mute does not in any way suggest that he regrets joining the APC. The APC chief also counselled those behind the fabricated falsehood to leave Amaechi alone until such a time he needs to address the nation accordingly.

In conclusion, Eze reiterated that Amaechi’s silence does not mean he regrets joining the APC, and warned against further attempts to attribute false statements to him. The Nigerian public can rest assured that Amaechi remains committed to the APC and its goals, despite the efforts of detractors to discredit him.
