Leading‑Edge Aviation, a premier aircraft management and charter flight company, has been recognized as the top operator in the Charter Flight Category of the Nigeria Aviation Awards. The company received the Charter Flight Award at the 12th edition of the Nigeria Aviation Awards and Ministerial Dinner held in Lagos on Saturday, emerging as the best among more than eight companies nominated in the category.
According to the award organizers, Leading‑Edge Aviation secured 180 votes, outpacing Executive Jet, which received 117 votes. Dornier Aviation garnered 33 votes, Arik Air Executive Jet Charter obtained 29 votes, Easy Jet earned 13 votes, and both Fly West Link Airlines and PrivateFly received five votes each, among others.
The award was presented on behalf of the organizers by former Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mr. Richard Aisuebeogun. Accepting the plaque, Mrs. Olusola Ogunseye, Executive Director of Human Resources and Administration at Leading‑Edge Aviation, thanked the organizers for recognizing the firm’s achievements. She noted that the award serves as a call to raise service standards and pledged that Leading‑Edge will not disappoint its many customers and the nation. “We dedicate this award to our numerous customers and other stakeholders in the aviation sector who are working to raise the bar of service in the airline and charter aviation segment,” she said.
Commenting on the honor, Managing Director Victor Mgbachi affirmed that Leading‑Edge Aviation will continue to deliver its best to customers and the airline industry.
