Kamala Harris Slams Trump’s Abortion Record in Call Her Daddy Interview

Kamala Harris Speaks Out on Abortion, Women’s Safety, and Trump’s Presidential Pledge

In a recent 40-minute interview with host Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kamala Harris, the vice president and Democratic presidential nominee, discussed several pressing issues, including abortion, women’s safety, and Donald Trump’s attempts to win over female voters.

Harris emphasized the importance of protecting women’s rights and autonomy, particularly in the face of Trump’s recent comments on abortion. She criticized Trump’s stance, pointing out that he had previously hand-selected Supreme Court justices with the intention of undoing protections for Roe v. Wade. Harris noted that 20 states now have Trump-backed abortion bans, including those that make no exception for rape or incest.

Harris also highlighted the devastating impact of these bans on women’s lives, saying, "You’re telling a survivor of a crime of a violation to their body that they don’t have a right to make a decision about what happens to their body next, which is immoral." She called out Trump’s hypocrisy, pointing out that he had previously suggested punishing women for having abortions.

In response to Trump’s claims that he would be a "protector" for women, Harris emphasized that women do not need a protector, but rather the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies. She encouraged listeners to recognize that women’s rights and autonomy are not mutually exclusive with their faith or deeply held beliefs.

The full interview is available on Spotify, where Harris shares more about her vision for improving women’s safety in the United States and promoting reproductive rights.
